Bobcat Goldthwait was born on May 26, 1962 in Syracuse, New York. In 1975, he wrote comedy at the age of 13 since 8th Grade. He also joined the rock band "The Dead Ducks." In 1977, he got ejected from that rock group because of ''the lack of his music talent.'' Goldthwait began his new standup career while attending Bishop Grimes High School at 15. He also played in night clubs at that age. At 18, Goldthwait founded a comedy group called "The Generic Comics" with his best friend Tom Kenny(who provides voices of animated characters in the late '90s) in Boston, Mass. In 1981, he got married to his wife Ann Luly at the age of 19. At the tender age of 19 to 20, he made his first appearence on "Late Night With David Letterman". He was only 22 1/2 years old in 1985 & was booked on a comedy showcase night for Whoopi Goldberg. This performance won him a role in the film "Police Academy 2" because his standup is getting talented & wild than ever. In 1986, Bobcat & Ann had a daughter. They named her Tasha. He also did his own comedy specials. The 3 are: Evening With Bobcat Goldthwait- An Share The Warmth (1987), Meat Bob (1988), & Bob Goldthwait- Is He Like All The Time?. Some video stores have the comedy specials of him on video cassette or CD. His other film credits were "Destiny Turns On The Radio", "Sweethearts", & more. He directed his cult classic film "Shakes the Clown"(A.K.A. The Citizen Kane of Alcoholic Clown Movies) in 1991. It`s a "sick joke twist on what we expect clowns to be". Now they have the movies he appeared in on video cassette, DVD, and LD Goldthwait started to continued to make memorable TV appearences. His Fisrt Appearence is "Married...With Children" of this episode " Magnificent Seven". In 1994, he appeared on "The Tonight`s Show With Jay Leno" & set his chair on fire. The comedian faced his arson charges for the incident. He provides the voice of Moxy on "The Moxy Show", provides the voice of Muggle on "Capital Critters", the voice of Pain in Disney`s 1997`s animated hit film "Hercules", & the voice of Mr Floppy on the WB´s Unhappily Ever After. He also directed rock videos for Chopper One of A Punk Named Josh & The Aquabats of Super Rad. Goldthwait first had his his daughter then adopted his stepson Tyler in the too-early 1990's. On April '98, his daughter Tasha had finally becomes a first-time young actress on the TV series "Brave New World" on NBC. On June 1st 1998, he began hosting his comedy/variety show called Bobcat`s Big *ss Show for the cable of FX. On July '98, He dated Nikki Cox, co-star from UNhappily Ever after. This year on June 1999, he & Nikki Cox got engaged. Goldthwait is always branching out new directions. Whenever he performs in comedy clubs & showcases, voicing characters, making memorable TV appearences, directs rock videos, making his own variety show, Goldthwait`s wild creative spirit leaves a distinctive mark.
